This semester is so far mainly activities along with our Swedish newbies, so all the Recce's can get to know each other.
We will however also have some activities for all of our international students, more info on this will come later. Please join our facebook-group for updated information.
Activities spring 2012:
January
- 16th – Karaoke with the international secretaries
- 17th – Opening night for the pub
- 18th - welcoming pool at Värmlands nation. All nations present themselves. Come say Hi to Ann and Jenny, ask millions of questions and have some candy!
- 19th – Karaoke with the international secretaries

- 24th & 26th - Pubworking days. Come socialize with other newbies (as well as "oldies") and try working in our pub. During the semester you can work extra in the pub - as reward (except for a good time) you get food and a few sodas during the night.
Are you a social animal, have you always wanted to do hamburgers, check id's or learn how to tap a beer? If any of these apply to you, then pubworking is definately the thing for you! We know from experience this is an awesome opportunity to learn new stuff, become part of the nation and meet new people.
February
- 3rd – Reccereception. A less formal dinner for all newbies at the nation. A wonderful opportunity to learn more about your new nation, the student life in Uppsala and also meet new friends! Sign up to 3Q!
- 6th – Vinterlandskap. This is a meeting where one can apply for offices at the nation. Followed by non-formal dinner - "sexa".
- 8th - Recce pubcrawl. Theme: Movies. Dress up and come join as we take a tour of Uppsalas pubs (with or without beer).
- 10th – Reccegasque with Gotlands and Smålands nation. Held at Smålands nation.
- 12th - Premier: Sunday brunch. Come eat our nourishing brunch and have a nice time with your friends.
- 19th - Movienight for all newbies at the nation.
- 25th-26th – Weekend of fun for the members holding an office at the nation
March
- 1st – Max Albin. A gasque that's free for all the nations members. AMAZING! You don't want to miss it.
Dresscode: by theme.
- 31st – Cleaning day. Help clean for a few hours, get a free "sexa" afterwards. FUN!
April
- 7th - Dinner for the ladies (held by the men of the nation)
- 23rd – Vårlandskap
- 29th – Kvalborg with KN (pub with a cultural twist - often musical).
- 30th – Sillunch (Herring lunch) at the nation. Valborgcelebrations.
May
- 1st – Räkan, the legendary - a MUST (släpp 'til 04). As member of our nation, you get to buy tickets before everyone else ;)
- 12th - Gasque for nationmembers holding an office. Get involved - get invitation!
- 18th - Bloodbath (släpp 'til 02)
- 19th - Spring ball, Gothenburgs is THE PLACE TO BE for this. All of Uppsala wants to attend the släpp (afterparty) which lasts 'til 04. EPIC!
June
- 1st – Baklängesgasque, a gasque where everything is done the "wrong way" - backwards. Starting with the grog (or drink if you prefer that), dessert and working towards the pre-drink. (släpp 'til 02)
